Summarize the legend: The legend was about a bunch of people who thought dialing an emergency line would charge their phone battery
Why is it relevant today: I think it’s relevant today because a lot of people do prank calls and publicity stunts that deceive people that it’s capable of working. The legend is proof that even today so many fallacies are actually believed rather than forgone.
What’s it trying to tell/warn society about: its trying to warn society don’t believe everything you hear or see and we shouldn’t dial emergency lines because someone says it charges your phone
What does it mean to you: It doesn’t really mean anything honestly
