1. A book that left a lasting impression/made me think the most was The Pearl by John Steinbeck. It stood out to me because it was such an interesting book because the story line is one modern society can somehow relate with it because of the vices and virtues of what the pearl brought. The main characters were characters that really acted quite distinctively

Honestly, I know the work is going to be a lot more, but i hope that I can handle it because after all, it's something that I wanted to do since I was young

I agree that The Pearl is a really good book. It really made me think. I am glad that you like John Steinbeck. Have you read any of his other books? Grapes of Wrath is really good if you are interested in reading more of his work.
